Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary!

I cannot believe I am just now writing this blog post, but I’m so happy to finally be posting again! Over fall break I got to visit Walt Disney World during their 50th anniversary celebration! We also visited again during Thanksgiving and both times it was so fun to see all the decorations around the resort for the 50th!

Saratoga Springs – 2 Bedroom Villa

We stayed at Saratoga Springs for the first time in one of the two bedroom villas. I absolutely loved it! It was so spacious and perfect for a larger family or even extended family. It can comfortably sleep up to 9 people.

The living room had two pull out beds: one underneath the TV for a kid to sleep in and one that pulls down from above the couch and turns into a full size bed.

Both of the beds had super cute artwork behind them when you pull them down!

It also had a full size kitchen and a little dining area right next to it. They also had special 50th anniversary Joffrey’s coffee to brew in the room!

The first bedroom had a king size bed and the bathroom next to it had a full size bathtub and sink with a connecting closet. There was another connecting door which had the shower, another sink, and the toilet.

The second bedroom had two full size beds and a connecting bathroom with two sinks and a shower. Both rooms were very nice and spacious.

The room also had a washer and dryer, which is definitely very convenient if you’re staying for an extended amount of time.

I loved staying at Saratoga Springs and would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. It was so nice and cute and conveniently located near Disney Springs!

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was definitely the highlight of the 50th anniversary experience! The decorations were festive and fun and I loved spotting all of the characters representing the 50th anniversary.

They also had lots of yummy snacks and drinks around the park, including a 50th anniversary Dole Whip with a cake pop!

I was also able to take some cute pictures with the castle in the background – I’m a huge fan of the pink in the castle now!

Epcot

I loved seeing Spaceship Earth light up at night in Epcot to celebrate the 50th anniversary!!

Epcot also had lots of cute and yummy snacks to offer, so we tried both the Lemon Chiffon Cake and the Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake.

They tasted good, but I honestly loved getting them more just because of how cute they were!

I love getting Joffrey’s when I’m at Disney and they also had some special drinks to celebrate the 50th anniversary. The Tropical Tea Breeze drink was one of my favorites as well as the Celebratory Sips, which was almost like a fruity frappuccino.

We also visited during the Food & Wine festival, so it was a lot of fun to walk around the world and snack on all the dishes the countries had to offer.

Another fun thing was that we were able to see the new Ratatouille ride shortly after it opened. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to ride it, but luckily I’ve ridden the Ratatouille ride at Disneyland Paris, which is extremely similar from what I have heard.

Disney Springs

World of Disney was beautifully decorated with 50th anniversary decor all around and lots of merchandise to choose from.

Another place I visited for the first time at Disney Springs was the Ganachery. I absolutely loved it! Everything looked so yummy! We tried a s’more, which was delicious and so cute with the Mickey design on top!

I had the best time visiting Disney World to celebrate their 50th anniversary! Hopefully I will be able to visit at least once more before the celebration is over.
