Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

To celebrate my first semester of college coming to an end, my mom and I took a quick trip to Disney World right before Christmas! We luckily got to go to all of the parks and see the beautiful Christmas decorations! One of the best parts of the trip was going to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. This was our first time going to it and we had an amazing time!

The beautiful lights on the castle is one of my favorite parts about visiting Disney at Christmas time!

As we walked into the park for the party, we got a special park map for the party as well as a welcome cookie shaped like Minnie Mouse. 🙂

Since I had never been to the Christmas party before, I thought we were only going to get one Christmas treat, but it was a pleasant surprise to get many treats throughout the night! Anywhere in the park where there is a candy cane marker is a place where you can get a holiday treat, usually a cookie! There were several different kinds of cookies to try as well as Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider at some locations.

This was the apple cider and molasses cookie at the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland… yum!

There were also a couple places to get this adorable and delicious snowman pretzel! It was a great salty snack in between all the sweet cookies… 😉

I’ll never get over how pretty the castle looks all lit up!

We watched the Christmas fireworks show, which was fantastic! We watched from Fantasyland near Dumbo and although you can’t see the castle from that location, I love to watch the fireworks there because it’s less crowded and feels like the fireworks are surrounding you, especially during the finale!

We also watched the special Christmas parade! They did the parade twice throughout the night, but we watched the later one because sadly it was raining off and on at the beginning of the night.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party was SO much fun and a great way to celebrate the holiday season at Disney World. I’m so glad we decided to go and I definitely would love to do it again in the years to come!
