Over spring break I returned to my all time favorite Disney park – Disneyland Paris! I first visited Disneyland Paris in 2017 and I couldn’t wait to go back! It’s such a magical and unique Disney experience that any Disney lover should have at some point!
Disneyland Hotel:
We stayed at the beautiful Disneyland Hotel and I absolutely loved everything about it! We stayed at this hotel last time we visited as well, so it is definitely one of my favorites!
Personally I think the Disneyland Hotel is one of the most beautiful Disney hotels across the globe; the gorgeous pink colors make me love it even more!
The hotel is right at the entrance of Disneyland Park, so it is very convenient for getting to the park and it’s also less than a five minute walk to the Walt Disney Studios Park as well as Disney Village.
The turndown service at night is always something lovely to come back to after a long day in the parks!
The perfect way to start your morning before going to the park is breakfast at Inventions in the hotel. It’s a buffet with so many delicious options!
The front of the hotel right at the entrance of the park is also a perfect picture spot to capture the beauty of the hotel!
The main lobby is another gorgeous feature of the Disneyland Hotel that you do not want to miss!
After you’ve enjoyed the hotel, eaten some breakfast, and taken some pictures, it’s time to have a little bit of adventure and experience the Disney magic!
My favorite part of Disneyland Paris is by far the stunning and magical castle! It is definitely the most beautiful Disney castle in the world. I bought these super cute Minnie Mouse ears once inside the park, which made for even better pictures!
The first thing to know about the attractions at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios is that they have the old way of doing Fastpasses, so you go to the attraction, get your paper Fastpass and then return at the time on your ticket and give it to the cast members once in the Fastpass line. Keep in mind that you can only have one Fastpass at a time, so it is important to think about the return times when choosing which rides to get a Fastpass for.
Fastpass Tips:
Big Thunder Mountain is one of my favorite rides at the Disneyland Paris park and it is one ride that I definitely recommend getting a Fastpass for when you arrive at the park.
Another ride that I would definitely recommend getting at the Disneyland Paris park is Hyperspace Mountain because this is also a very popular attraction.
I would recommend getting a Fastpass for one of these attractions when you first arrive at the park and then head straight to popular attractions that do not offer Fastpasses because the lines tend to be shorter early in the morning.
I would suggest going to either Phantom Manor or Pirates of the Caribbean after getting your first Fastpass.
For the Walt Disney Studios Park, I would recommend getting a Fastpass for either Ratatouille or The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Both are must dos while at this park!
After getting a Fastpass at one of these rides, you should go straight to Crush’s Coaster because it is an amazing ride, but the line gets long very quickly!
Must Dos!
There are so many great things to experience at Disneyland Paris, but here are a few of my favorites things that you should not miss on your trip!
Disneyland Park:
- Big Thunder Mountain – This is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland Paris and is different than Big Thunder Mountain in the US because the actual ride is on an island!
- Hyperspace Mountain – This Star Wars themed Space Mountain is a must do attraction for any thrill seeker!
- La Tanière du Dragon – Under the castle, there’s a huge dragon that looks so life-like and is definitely something you don’t want to miss!
- Phantom Manor – This ride is similar to Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World, but it is slightly scarier than the Haunted Mansion.
- Alice’s Curious Labyrinth – This maze in Fantasyland goes through the story of Alice in Wonderland and leads to a castle to explore!
- Autopia – This ride is like Tomorrowland Speedway at Walt Disney World, but this track is a lot more fun in my opinion!
- The Spectacularly Sparkly Disney Illuminations Show – The firework show is so much fun to watch, so definitely make time to see this show at the end of your day at the park!
- It’s a Small World – This ride is a Disney classic and it’s different from the ones in the US, so don’t miss out on it!
Walt Disney Studios:
- Crush’s Coaster – This rollercoaster is unique to Walt Disney Studios Park and is definitely a ride you do not want to miss!
- Ratatouille: The Adventure – This ride is also unique to Disneyland Paris and is perfect for anyone to ride! This is one of my top rides I would recommend to anyone going to Disneyland Paris.
- Tower of Terror – This ride is also similar to Tower of Terror at Walt Disney World, but like Phantom Manor it is also a little scarier than the one in Florida.
- RC Racer – This ride in Toy Story Land is tons of fun and perfect for anyone who loves a little adventure!
