Adventures by Disney: Shanghai

The final stop on our Adventures by Disney China trip was the beautiful city of Shanghai! Although our time in Shanghai was short, we were still able to see a number of iconic sights and enjoy staying at the loveliest hotel!

Peninsula Hotel

We stayed at the gorgeous Peninsula Hotel! The rooms were extremely spacious and absolutely beautiful! (See full videos of the room in my YouTube video below).

The breakfast at the hotel was also so delicious! There was a small buffet with bread, cheese, fruit, and more & you are also able to order something from the menu!

Upon arrival we explored the hotel and freshened up for the rest of the night and headed to dinner.

Din Tai Fung Restaurant

We ate dinner at the delicious Din Tai Fung Restaurant where we enjoyed traditional Shanghai dumplings and an assortment of other regional dishes. These dumplings were one of my very favorite meals we had while on this trip!

Shanghai Acrobat Show

After dinner, we watched an incredible acrobat show! All of the acts were jaw-dropping and the show never lost your attention!

Once the show ended, they invited the Adventures by Disney group to come on stage and meet some of the acrobats! It was such a cool experience!

Shanghai Night Skyline

On our way back to the hotel after the acrobat show, we stopped to take a few pictures with the gorgeous night skyline in the background! It was truly one of the most stunning city views I have ever seen!

This photo location near our hotel had a perfect view of the Bund across the harbor!

Yu Garden

The next morning, we spent some time exploring Old Shanghai and the Yu Garden.

The old buildings were gorgeous and every alleyway was filled with so much character and culture!

Tucked away in the heart of Shanghai, the Yu Garden was one of the most beautiful spots we visited while we were in Shanghai! Walking through these incredible gardens was so peaceful and refreshing. It was so interesting to learn about the history of the gardens and see some iconic spots inside, such as the dragon walls.

There were so many cute places to stop to take pictures because everywhere you turned was picture-perfect!
