Our first full day in the beautiful city of Dubai was spent making several super fun stops – the gold souk, Dubai Frame, and Arabian Tea House!
Spice Market
We started our day by stopping at a spice market/souvenir shop. They had so many different spices, candies, and tons of other souvenirs such as clothes and little trinkets.
This is a great stop to make in Dubai if you are looking for a place to buy candies, spices, or just souvenirs in general. You can find these types of stores all over the place near the gold souks!
Gold Souk
Next, we spent some time looking in several shops at the gold souk. The amount of gold here was absolutely crazy!
They had any type of gold jewelry you could imagine! It was so much fun seeing all the different designs of gold jewelry and just seeing that amount of gold in general!
Dubai Frame
Next, we went to the Dubai Frame! This is a must-do for anyone visiting Dubai!
The frame is beautiful from the outside and is perfect photo opportunity! The views from the inside though, are even more beautiful!
Before heading to the top of the frame to see the views of the city, the inside of the bottom of the frame goes through the history of Dubai, which was interesting to learn about!
Then, we finally made our way to the top of the frame where we saw some of the most stunning views of the city!
You can even walk on glass that looks to the ground below and the bottom of the frame! It was a little scary, but so cool!
Everywhere you look, you will not be disappointed by the views that surround you!
Don’t forget to snap some pictures from the inside of the frame as well!
There was also a small coffee shop stand at the top as well as a souvenir coin machine!
After enjoying all the views from above, we made our way back down to the bottom of the frame. Here we learned a little bit about the building process, saw their Guinness Book of World Records sign, and visited the gift shop.
This is truly an experience you HAVE to have if you plan on visiting Dubai!
Arabian Tea House
After spending some time at the Dubai Frame we went to the Arabian Tea House for lunch.
Both the outside and the inside of the Arabian Tea House was so cute and perfect for pictures!
Their menu was also very cute and had so many choices! It was hard to decide what to order, but finally we settled on several things are we were not disappointed by our choices!
Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered hummus and labneh as well as falafel for appetizers.
We also ordered several different drinks to try and they were all amazing (& beautiful)!
The main course was also so yummy – we tried the chicken shawarma wrap! The kids meals were also adorable!
The service was also great and everyone was so kind! It was such a great experience eating lunch at the Arabian Tea House – I would definitely recommend eating here while visiting Dubai!
