21st Birthday at Walt Disney World! – Swan Reserve

To celebrate my 21st birthday I spent a weekend getaway at Walt Disney World! We stayed at the beautiful new Swan Reserve and I finally got to experience the new Space 220 Restaurant!

Swan Reserve

The Swan Reserve was stunning and having a corner suite made it even more fun and beautiful! Not only did we have a gorgeous view of Epcot and the Swan & Dolphin resorts, but we also had a view of Hollywood Studios!

The living room was nice and spacious and the couch turned into a pullout bed, which was very convenient.

There was also a dining area complete with a coffee maker, mini-fridge, and more.

The bathroom was very nice, especially because it had sliding doors which could separate the toilet and small sink from the larger vanity and shower!

Overall, I loved staying at the Swan Reserve and would certainly stay here again! The location was also extremely convenient because you can easily walk to Epcot or hop on the boat to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios.

Gideon’s Cookies & Disney Springs

One thing I have wanted to do for a long time is to try Gideon’s Cookies. Sadly, the line at Disney Springs is always absurdly long, so this time we decided to stop at their other location off Disney property on our way from the airport. I’m so glad we did because they were absolutely delicious!

After we settled in at the hotel, we decided to go to Disney Springs for the evening to get some dinner and do a little shopping. We ate at D’luxe Burger, which we had eaten at before and loved! I would definitely recommend trying it to anyone who is in Disney Springs!

Magic Kingdom

The next day we started off my birthday by spending some time at Magic Kingdom! We rode several rides and then enjoyed a snack from The Friar’s Nook/Storybook Treats.

We got the Genie+ on my birthday and I’m really glad we did because we were able to ride a lot more rides than we would have been able to otherwise ride.

Epcot

After spending the morning at Magic Kingdom, we made our way to Epcot where we rode a few more rides before our lunch reservation at Rose and Crown in the UK pavilion. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain most of the afternoon, but we made the most of it and still rode as many indoor rides as possible!

Space 220 Restaurant

Later in the evening, we had reservations for the Space 220 lounge! This restaurant was honestly such a fun and unique experience and was certainly one of the highlights of my day!

When you first walk into the restaurant, you are given a “boarding pass” to get on to the “shuttle” which takes you to “space”. You walk into a room that shows your shuttle going into space where you then exit and are at the restaurant!

In the restaurant, you have a stunning view of “earth” from the windows and can even see astronauts floating in space!

We each tried a different drink and they were all delicious and so cute!

Since we just had a lounge reservation and we had eaten a bigger meal earlier in the day, we just ordered appetizers, but they were all so yummy! We tried the Astro Deviled Eggs, Blue Moon Cauliflower, and Shrimp Cocktail. I would definitely get any one of these again!

They also gave me a cute cupcake for my birthday, which was so sweet!

Our waiter was so nice and even showed us a cute place to take pictures with “earth” showing in the background. I had so much fun experiencing this restaurant and would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Hollywood Studios

The next day we spent the morning and afternoon at Hollywood Studios before heading to the airport. We ate lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby and enjoyed a few more rides in the park before riding the Skyliner back to the Epcot resorts.

Winter Summerland Mini Golf

The last thing we enjoyed before driving back to the airport was a round of mini-golf at Winer Summerland! It was the perfect way to end off my birthday weekend!
